Udit Vani Jamshedpur : Tata Steel has issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over a fatal accident that occurred in the early hours of Monday under its Logistics Operations (Inbound) at the West Marshalling Yard in Jamshedpur.
The incident took place around 1:30 AM and involved a vendor employee, Sunil Kumar Singh, aged 34, employed by M/s RITES.
Tata Steel confirmed the unfortunate loss of life and conveyed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
“While other details are awaited, we want to keep media informed to prevent unfounded news from being circulated,” said a statement issued by the company .
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
