Jamshedpur : A major accident was averted in the early hours of Tuesday in Sakchi police station area.
A trailer loaded with gas cylinders lost control and overturned after hitting a divider near the Hathi-Ghoda Temple around 4 am.
Fortunately, there were no major casualties reported. However, the driver of the trailer sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital for treatment.
On getting information, Sakchi police promptly arrived at the scene and began a rescue operation.
The overturned trailer caused a temporary disruption in traffic, but the police acted swiftly to restore normalcy.
Efforts were underway to remove the overturned trailer, and traffic movement has been normalized.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and how the trailer lost control.
