Jamshedpur: A heart-wrenching incident took place on Thursday in the 10 Number Basti area under the jurisdiction of Sidhgora police station. Vijay Nandan’s 14-year-old son, Sai, tragically passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Sai, a student of Bidyutpur Public School in class nine, began complaining of a headache around 8:30 am after returning from the bathroom.
His parents initially thought it was a common headache and applied oil to his head for relief. However, the pain soon became unbearable.
Alarmed, the family immediately rushed him to Mercy Hospital in Baridih. Despite being given oxygen, his condition continued to deteriorate, and he eventually lost consciousness.
Given the seriousness of his condition, doctors referred him to TMH (Tata Main Hospital), where he was declared dead around 9:30 am.
The sudden death of their healthy and cheerful son has devastated Vijay Nandan and his family.
Sai’s uncle, Sachidanand, revealed that according to the doctors’ report, the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
The family is still struggling to come to terms with how a seemingly healthy child could suddenly pass away.
