Jamshedpur : To ensure public safety and maintain traffic order during the Ram Navami celebrations, the East Singhbhum district administration has issued strict traffic regulations across Jamshedpur.
A joint directive has been released by Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, SSP Kishore Kaushal, and the Traffic DSP, detailing phased restrictions over two days.
April 6 – Two-Phase Ban on Heavy Vehicles
Phase 1: 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Phase 2: 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM
During these hours, the movement of all heavy vehicles will be strictly prohibited within city limits. However, buses will continue to operate for passenger convenience.
April 7 – Complete Vehicle Ban from Afternoon Onwards
From 1:00 PM on April 7 until 6:00 AM on April 8, all goods carriers, four-wheelers, buses, and heavy vehicles will be banned from operating in the city.
April 7 – Restrictions on Three-Wheelers (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
Auto-rickshaws and other three-wheelers will not be allowed on the following key roads and intersections:
