
UditVani, Jamshedpur : South Eastern Railway has launched a pantry car service on Train No. 18111/18112 Tata–Yesvantpur Express starting today, enhancing convenience for passengers on this long-distance route.
Arun Joshi, Member of the Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (ZRUCC), South Eastern Railway, Kolkata, said the facility will ensure travelers have access to fresh meals and beverages throughout their journey.
He added that the need for a pantry car had been highlighted in the last two ZRUCC meetings, prompting a swift and positive response from the South Eastern Railway authorities.
Joshi expressed his appreciation to the railway’s senior officials for implementing the service, noting that it will make long-distance travel more comfortable and enjoyable for passengers.
