
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The ID Chess 2025 tournament, held at the Chess Training Centre, JRD Tata Sports Complex, came to a successful conclusion this evening.
The event saw participation from 16 ID units with 85 talented players competing for the top spots.
Adarsh Kumar from Shared Services emerged as the winner, securing the first place. Sanjay Kumar Swain from TSK took the second spot, while Jha Kaushal Kumar from Shared Services claimed the third position.
Merlyn Ferdose Anklesaria, Head, Event Management & Protocol, Tata Steel, graced the event as the chief guest.
The tournament was well-organized and officiated by a team of experienced arbiters, including Chief Arbiter Jayant Bhuyan, Vishal Kumar Minz, Vikram Kumar, Soukhin Pramanik, Shubhangi Verma, and Chiranji Lal.
Representatives from the Sports department, Ananya Lepii and Renu Bhaduriya, were also present to support the event.
The ID Chess 2025 tournament was a testament to the strategic thinking and analytical skills of the participants.
