
UditVani,Jamshedpur: Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has achieved a major milestone by commissioning over 10 GW of EPC renewable energy projects, reinforcing its leadership in India’s clean energy transition.
During the first nine months of FY26, TPREL commissioned 1.88 GW of renewable capacity, marking a 33% year-on-year growth, while 941 MW was added in Q3FY26 alone—the company’s highest-ever quarterly addition.
The portfolio includes 9.7 GW of solar and 290 MW of wind projects, executed across multiple states under challenging conditions.
With its utility-scale operational capacity now at 6 GW, TPREL continues to strengthen India’s renewable infrastructure and plans to add 0.75 GW of owned capacity within FY26.
