
Udit Vani, Ranchi: As part of the Founder’s Day celebrations, N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, is arriving in Jharkhand today. Before proceeding to Jamshedpur, Chandrasekaran will meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at around 2 pm at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.
During the meeting, Tata Steel CEO and Managing Director T. V. Narendran will also be present. Following the meeting, Hemant Soren, N. Chandrasekaran and T. V. Narendran will interact with media representatives in Ranchi.
Founder’s Day Celebrations to Begin in Jamshedpur
The Founder’s Day celebrations will formally begin this evening at Jubilee Park, Jamshedpur, with the inauguration of citywide decorative lighting. On March 3, a grand parade and tableaux will be organised at the Tata Steel plant premises, along with floral tributes at the statue of the founder.
The celebrations are being held to mark the 187th birth anniversary of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.
Theme and Special Attractions
This year’s Founder’s Day theme is “One Vision, One Tata Steel,” symbolising unity and integration across the organisation.
A major attraction will be a vertical portrait of Ratan Tata, measuring 18×22 feet, created using nearly one lakh flowers and installed opposite the JN Tata statue at Jubilee Park. In addition, more than 20 locations across the city will be illuminated with colourful decorative lighting, adding to the festive atmosphere.
