Scattered thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–40 kmph, gusting up to 50 kmph) are predicted across the state.
April 17:
The turbulent weather continues for most parts of Jharkhand, except the western regions, which may see some respite.
What’s Causing It ?
A Western Disturbance is currently active at 5.8 km above sea level, stretching along longitude 82°E, north of latitude 21°N.
Another trough is extending from central Bihar to North Coastal Odisha, passing through Jharkhand at a height of 3.1 km.
