
UditVani, Jamshedpur : St. Xavier’s English School, Burma Mines branch, celebrated its Second Annual Sports Day on November 28 with immense enthusiasm and vibrant participation.
The school campus came alive with energy as students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests gathered for the event.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Krishna Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, JNAC (East Jamshedpur).
The Special Guests included Manoj Kumar Thakur (DySP, CCR Jamshedpur), Hasan Imam Mallik (Sports Manager, JRD Tata Steel & Chief Coach, Handball Association), social worker Pramod Mishra, Founder Akhileshwar Singh, Chairperson Lucy Singh, Manager Sushil Singh, and Secretary Saurav Giri.
A large number of parents were also present on the occasion.
The programme began with a warm welcome speech by Swati Jha.
Students presented a colourful dance performance, adding joy to the occasion.
The major highlights of the event were the impressive “Chak De India Drill,” “Fan Drill,” and “Taekwondo Drill”, presented by the students, which drew loud applause from the audience.
At the end of the event, winners of various competitions were felicitated with prizes. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
The Sports Day was made successful through the dedicated efforts of the school administration.
