
Udit Vani, Jamshedpur : Sporting Club Jamshedpur put on a dominant display in the Premier Division, hammering Jamshedpur Boys Club 4-0 at the Telco Stadium. Gokul Mardi opened the scoring in the 20th minute, followed by a brace from Rajesh Tudu (75’, 88’) and a goal from Akash Hembrom (80’) to complete a resounding win.
In another Premier Division clash at the JRD Sports Complex, Babulal Soren Football Association and Gramin Football Academy played out a 1-1 draw. Tarun Singh put GFA ahead early (10’), but Raju Hansda equalized in the 34th minute. Both sides earned a point each.
Super Division action at Gopal Maidan saw Jungle Tiger Football Academy edge Andhra Sporting Union 2-1. Sahil Mardi scored early (6’), but Yogeshwar Besra levelled before halftime (42’). Sujit Mahakud’s late strike (87’) sealed the win for JTFA.
In the A Division (Group A), MSC defeated Jharkhand Bayar 2-0 at Armoury Ground. Goals came from Sunaram Murmu (28’) and Nadeem Akhtar (90+2’), with only one booking issued in the game.
Meanwhile, in Group B, United Football Association edged Ambedkar FC 1-0 at Tinplate Sports Complex thanks to a 10th-minute goal from Anil Bandra. The match remained tightly contested with minimal disciplinary issues.
