UditVani, Jamshedpur : South Point School, Patamda celebrated Constitution Day on Wednesday with solemnity and enthusiasm to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The celebration commenced with a floral tribute and lamp lighting before the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Sudhanshu Ojha along with Councillor Pradeep Besra, Mahila Morcha District President Neelu Ji, Alok Vajpayee, Vasudev Mandal, Pradeep Mahato, Mantu Dutta, Shantanu Mukherjee, Subrato Dutta and Amit Singh. School Director Shivam Sharma and Principal Arun Kumar Singh extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries.
Students presented *Vande Mataram* and a welcome song, followed by a patriotic poem on Constitution Day recited by Payal Sen of Class IV. The cultural performances highlighted the spirit of Indian democracy and unity.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Shri Sudhanshu Ojha emphasized the importance of the Constitution in framing a just society and lauded Dr. Ambedkar’s immense contribution to nation-building. He urged students to be aware of their fundamental rights and duties, stating that such events strengthen democratic values among the youth.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Principal Arun Kumar Singh.
