UditVani, Jamshedpur : Faith will meet melody on August 4 when the Har-Har Mahadev Seva Sangh hosts its grand Silver Jubilee Bhajan Sandhya at the Sakchi Gurudwara Ground, marking 25 years of unbroken spiritual service.
This year’s celebration, coinciding with the Antim Somvari of Shravan, promises to be a spectacular confluence of devotion, music, and community spirit, drawing thousands of devotees from Jamshedpur and the wider Kolhan region.
Manoj Tiwari – Star Performer of the Evening
The highlight of the evening will be the soul-stirring performance by renowned singer and Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, celebrated for his deep, devotional renditions of Shiva bhajans.
Starting at 6.30 p.m. and continuing late into the night, Tiwari and his musical ensemble will guide the gathering into an immersive journey of bhakti, offering a musical tribute to Lord Shiva.
Preparations in Full Swing
Announcing the event, Sangh founder Amarpreet Singh Kale said at a press conference that extensive arrangements are being made to ensure a spiritually uplifting experience. A special coordination meeting was recently held at the Sangh’s Kalimati Road office, finalising plans for stage décor, security, parking, crowd management, and other logistics.
A Tradition of Devotional Excellence
Over the past 24 years, the Sangh has hosted some of India’s most acclaimed devotional performers, including Kailash Kher, Malini Awasthi, Anoop Jalota, Lakhbir Singh Lakha, Kalpana Patwari, Bharat Sharma Vyas, Pawan Singh, Kanhaiya Mittal, and Devi.
To create a divine ambience, the venue will be illuminated with vibrant lighting, anchored by a striking tableau of Baba Barfani as the spiritual centrepiece. A grand Bhandara-Prasad (community feast) will also be offered to all attendees ( around 25,000).
Honouring Service to Society
This milestone edition of the Bhajan Sandhya will also feature the presentation of the Sangh Ratna Seva Award, which honours individuals for exceptional contributions to society.
This year, the award will be bestowed upon former Dhanbad MP and minister Pashupati Nath Singh, a steadfast patron who has unfailingly attended the event every year since its inception.
An Invitation to All
Extending a heartfelt appeal, Kale urged families to join the spiritual gathering, saying, “This silver jubilee celebration is not merely an event; it is a divine congregation where hearts unite in the name of faith, service, and the boundless grace of Lord Shiva.”
