Jamshedpur : In a significant move to strengthen student development, Sona Devi University has entered into a three-year partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Young Indians initiative.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during a formal ceremony at the university’s Ghatshila campus today.
Collaboration to Nurture Youth for Nation-Building
With Young Indians (Yi) being a key youth-driven movement under CII, the collaboration is set to engage 250 students from the university annually. These students will participate in various developmental and social impact projects aimed at nation-building and fostering civic responsibility.
Joint Efforts to Promote Leadership and Personal Growth
Through this MoU, both organizations will launch a series of joint educational initiatives focusing on leadership training, life skills, and holistic development. The collaboration seeks to help students become socially aware, professionally capable, and community-driven individuals.
Dignitaries Witness MoU Signing Ceremony
The MoU signing was graced by several notable figures. Representing Sona Devi University were Chancellor Prabhakar Singh, Dr. Neet Nayana, and Dr. Saikat Chakraborty.
From the CII-Young Indians side, Ankita Naredi and Ujjwal Mahto were present.
The official agreement was signed by Assistant Registrar Archana Singh and Mokshita Gautam, marking the beginning of this promising association.
