UditVani, Jamshedpur: Quantum 2025 — the flagship inter-school science and innovation fest hosted by the vibrant Plus One and Plus Two students of Little Flower School — began with an electrifying showcase of intellect, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What began years ago as a modest science fair has now matured into one of the region’s most prestigious academic conclaves, where the spirit of curiosity meets the brilliance of youth.
This year’s edition, themed as a “Renaissance of Innovation and Intellect,” was held under the visionary leadership of Principal Sister Hilda D’Souza and the dedicated guidance of Convener Ashish Kapoor.
The fest has grown into a dynamic platform interweaving science, technology, sustainability, entrepreneurship, literature, and the arts — truly embodying a 21st-century learning ethos.
With 681 participants across 17 events, students from leading schools across the region converged at Little Flower School to compete, connect, and create.
The fest not only tested academic prowess and creative capabilities but also nurtured career aspirations and inspired sustainable thinking among the leaders of tomorrow.

Day 1: A Dazzling Tapestry of Discovery and Dynamism
The inaugural day of Quantum 2025 commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony at the school auditorium. Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest was Sandeep Kabra, Director of Kabra Transport Pvt. Ltd., while Guests of Honour included Father Vinod Fernandez, Principal of Loyola School, and Nandini Shukla, Principal of Kerala Samajam Model School.
The school also paid tribute to its former educators and Quantum pioneers — Sangeeta Chatrath, Diyali Sengupta, and Amarjeet Kaur — whose legacy continues to inspire generations.
In a celebration of both legacy and progress, the day unfolded with a seamless fusion of stagecraft, scientific rigour, and youthful passion.
The teacher coordinators — Ashish Kapoor, Ranita Karmakar, Dibyo Jyoti Ghosh, and Moumita Das — extended a warm welcome, invoking a spirit of innovation and collaboration.

Onstage Brilliance: Rhythm, Reason, and Resonance
The spotlight shone bright with Rhythm Riots, a Gen-Z vs. Millennial dance battle that mesmerized audiences with its fusion of freestyle choreography, cultural references, and electrifying energy.
This was followed by the STEM Quiz, a high-stakes intellectual duel that tested the speed, precision, and scientific acumen of the six final teams.
Emotion took centre stage with House of Memories, a literary event centered on vocal storytelling in a minimalist setting, where empathy and expression took precedence over performance.
Meanwhile, in Seeds to Success, budding entrepreneurs pitched visionary eco-city models for a fictional recovery zone called Solivara, showcasing a mature understanding of sustainability, business acumen, and civic innovation.
Offstage Action: Code, Camera, and Combat
Behind the scenes, creativity and competence flourished. Cinenova challenged student filmmakers to capture and craft cinematic reels of the day’s activities — merging technology, storytelling, and environmental themes into compact, compelling narratives.
Bioluminerds — a science quiz brimming with logic and curiosity — saw young minds race through MCQs and conceptual rounds to claim a spot in the finals.
The coding battlefield, Codexia, tested participants in debugging and reverse-engineering tasks replicating real-world crises, offering a glimpse into the future of tech talent.
Robot lovers were treated to the adrenaline of Battle Bots, where engineered machines clashed in strategic 1v1 duels, and Robokick, an AI-powered football challenge that had mechanical athletes battling it out on the pitch.
The entrepreneurial zone buzzed with Solivara & Venture-Verse, as student teams operated startup-themed stalls, combining real-world marketing with sustainability models in immersive exhibitions.
One of the day’s most demanding and admired events, Darwin’s Gladiator, tested participants across intellectual, creative, and physical challenges — from resume writing and critical thinking to endurance drills, epitomizing a holistic model of student excellence.
Quantum 2025 Day 1 wrapped up as a remarkable confluence of passion and purpose. From roaring robots and compelling pitches to poetic voices and scientific fervor, Little Flower School became a cauldron of creativity, intellect, and inspiration. With expectations soaring, Day 2 promises even greater feats as young innovators prepare to push the frontiers of their potential.
