
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA), Jamshedpur, today announced that its cadet Roshan Ekka has been selected to attend the Hockey India Junior Men TOPS NCOE National Training Camp.
The prestigious camp will be held at the National Centre of Excellence (NCOE), SAI Bengaluru, from February 15 to March 31.
This achievement marks a significant milestone not only in Roshan’s journey but also for the entire NTHA fraternity, reaffirming the academy’s commitment to nurturing young talent and preparing them for the highest levels of Indian hockey.
Roshan Ekka joined Naval Tata Hockey Academy in 2019 and trained at the academy till 2023, where he consistently demonstrated discipline, skill, and dedication towards the sport.
In April 2023, his performance earned him selection at the NCOE Lucknow, further strengthening his pathway in elite hockey development.
His latest selection for the Hockey India Junior National Camp is a monument to his hard work and the strong foundation built during his years at NTHA.
Notably, Roshan becomes the 8th player from Naval Tata Hockey Academy to be selected for an Indian National Camp, reflecting the academy’s sustained excellence in player development. In addition, three NTHA cadets have previously represented the Indian Sub-Junior Team, further highlighting the academy’s contribution to Indian hockey at the national level.
