Jamshedpur : XLRI Jamshedpur successfully hosted its flagship annual recruiters’ conclave, Rendezvous with XLRI – Bengaluru 2025, at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru.
The prestigious event brought together an impressive assembly of corporate leaders, senior HR professionals, XLRI alumni, and academicians for an evening of thought leadership and strategic dialogue on the future of work.
The conclave featured a compelling keynote address by C. Lakshmi, Senior Managing Director and CHRO at Accenture, who served as the event’s chief guest.
Emphasizing the urgency of reimagining talent models in an era of technological disruption, she underscored the shared responsibility between corporate leaders and institutions like XLRI in shaping a future-ready workforce.
“The responsibility of shaping tomorrow’s workforce lies equally with corporate houses and premier educational institutions like XLRI,” she said.
A dynamic panel discussion followed, themed “Future of Work, Skills, and Talent: An Indian Perspective.” The session brought together top thought leaders:

The panel explored critical themes including the evolving expectations of Gen Z professionals, the transformation of skillsets, and leadership strategies for hybrid and digital-first work environments.
The event was conceptualized and hosted by XLRI Jamshedpur under the guidance of Prof. Kanagaraj A, Senior Professor of Finance and Convenor – Placements. In his welcome address, Prof. Kanagaraj highlighted XLRI’s rich legacy, diverse academic offerings, and its commitment to shaping ethical, industry-ready leaders.
He also extended an invitation to industry partners to participate in the upcoming Summer Internship and Final Placement processes for XLRI’s PGDM (BM), PGDM (HRM), and GMP cohorts.
The conclave saw active involvement from senior XLRI faculty members, including Prof. Giridhar Ramachandran and Prof. Sunil Sarangi, who are instrumental in driving industry-aligned pedagogy at the institute.
Rajni Ranjan, Vice President & Head – Corporate Relations and Placements, spearheaded the event’s planning and guest engagement, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for all attendees.
