Jamshedpur : IMD Ranchi Meteorological Centre today predicted that Jharkhand is expected to experience mainly clear and dry weather on April 5 and 6.
However, a change is on the horizon starting April 7 (Monday), as light to moderate rainfall is likely at isolated places, particularly across the north-eastern parts of the state and nearby regions.
By April 8, the sky may turn partly cloudy, with the potential for rain or thunderstorms at isolated locations. Residents, especially in the north-eastern districts, are advised to stay updated on weather developments, as sporadic showers could cause brief disruptions.
The change in weather is attributed to shifting atmospheric systems.
The Western Disturbance, previously observed as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu and adjoining areas at 5.8 Km above mean sea level, has now developed into a trough in the westerlies.
This trough currently extends along longitude 75°E, north of latitude 32°N. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation remains active over West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas at around 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Meanwhile, a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2 to 3°C is expected over the next 72 hours.
Most places across Jharkhand today woke up to bright weather with rising trend in day temperature.
