
UditVani, Jamshedpur : During the Public Grievance Redressal Day held at the district collectorate office Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi personally heard the concerns of citizens from both urban and rural areas today.
A large number of individuals presented personal and social issues, seeking administrative support and resolution.
Key issues raised included demands related to old-age pension, appointment of chowkidars, pending compensation against land acquisition by NHAI, allotment of PDS shops, benefits under the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, land disputes, request for extension of time to vacate rented premises, liquor shop licensing, encroachment and parking problems, work extension, issuance of experience certificates and pending payments by institutions, as well as concerns regarding social security and other basic needs.
Various groups, including labour unions, Dalma Gram Suraksha Manch, and other delegations, also met the Deputy Commissioner and submitted their concerns, which were duly acknowledged and taken seriously by the administration.
Several grievances were resolved on the spot, while others were forwarded to the concerned departmental officers with strict instructions for prompt and time-bound action.
Deputy Commissioner Satyarthi emphasized that the district administration is committed to addressing public concerns and that Public Grievance Redressal Day serves as an effective platform to establish direct communication and take concrete steps toward resolution.
