
UditVani, Jamshedpur : President of India, Droupadi Murmu, arrived in Jamshedpur on Monday, where she was formally received at Sonari Airport by the Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi.
On behalf of the district administration, the Deputy Commissioner presented a bouquet to the President as a mark of respect and extended a warm welcome on her arrival.
Senior administrative and police officials were present at the airport to receive the President, while elaborate security arrangements were put in place in view of her visit.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened across Jamshedpur ahead of the arrival of President Droupadi Murmu, with elaborate arrangements put in place to ensure a smooth and secure visit.
From Sonari Airport to Karandih Chowk, the entire route has been placed under strict surveillance, with multi-layered security deployment and thorough checks.
The President’s convoy proceeded towards Dishom Jaher, and authorities remain on high alert to manage traffic and maintain order throughout the city.
President Murmu will attend the closing ceremony marking 100 years of the Ol Chiki script at Karandih, a milestone celebration of Santhal heritage and linguistic pride.
The venue has been heavily guarded, and entry is being permitted only after rigorous verification of delegates and attendees.
Officials have confirmed that all necessary precautions are in place to ensure the event is conducted seamlessly, underscoring the significance of the occasion and the importance of the President’s presence at the historic celebration.
