
UditVani, Jamshedpur: A preparatory meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Paswan to ensure the successful organisation of the State-Level Legal Services-cum-Empowerment Camp and the virtual inauguration of the National Lok Adalat, scheduled to be held on March 14 at the Sidhgora Town Hall.
The meeting was organised jointly by the District Legal Services Authority and the district administration, East Singhbhum, with participation from various departmental officials.
During the meeting, departments were directed to set up exhibition stalls showcasing government welfare schemes and to prepare comprehensive lists of beneficiaries who could be provided benefits during the event.
Officials were also instructed to submit details of assets proposed for distribution among beneficiaries to ensure smooth implementation during the programme.
The Deputy Development Commissioner emphasised that all departments should promptly identify eligible beneficiaries under their respective schemes and submit the lists at the earliest so that a larger number of citizens can avail themselves of government benefits during the camp.
The meeting also reviewed arrangements related to departmental coordination, stall management, beneficiary participation and other logistical preparations to ensure the successful conduct of the programme.
Among those present at the meeting were Director NEP Santosh Garg, Nazarat Deputy Collector David Balihar, Welfare Officer Shankaracharya Shamad, District Supply Officer Zulfikar Ansari, Executive Magistrate Chandrijit Singh and several others.
