Udit Vani, Jamshedpur : Jharkhand is set to witness a stable yet increasingly wintry spell over the coming days, with dry weather continuing across the state and temperatures—especially at night—showing a gradual decline.
According to the latest assessment from the Meteorological Centre, Ranchi, no rainfall has been recorded, and similar conditions are expected to prevail.
Daytime temperatures remain largely comfortable. Chaibasa recorded the highest maximum at around 28°C, while Jamshedpur and Daltonganj stayed in the mid-20s.
Ranchi remained cooler, with maximum temperatures hovering around 22–23°C, reflecting typical winter conditions over the plateau region.
Nights, however, are turning noticeably colder. Minimum temperatures have dipped significantly in several districts, including Ranchi, Bokaro and Daltonganj, with readings nearing the 8–10°C range.
Weather experts indicate that minimum temperatures may fall slightly further in the next few days, leading to colder mornings.
With clear skies and no rainfall forecast, light fog or mist may appear in isolated areas during late night and early morning hours.
Residents are advised to take adequate precautions against the cold, particularly during early hours, while farmers may benefit from the dry weather for agricultural activities.
Overall, Jharkhand is entering a sharper winter phase, marked by calm weather, mild days and steadily cooling nights.
