
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation stones for five new industrial units at Tata Steel’s Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) in Ganjam.
These projects, with a combined investment of over Rs 20,500 crore, span key sectors like Green Hydrogen/Ammonia, Solar Cell & Module Manufacturing, and Specialty Chemicals.
The ceremony, attended by senior state ministers and Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd. (TSSEZL) officials, marks a significant milestone in the industrial growth of the region. “With investments in green hydrogen, chemicals and renewable energy, Ganjam is poised to set a new benchmark in industrial development,” said the CM.
The projects include:
HHP Five (Hygenco) – ₹4,000 Cr (Green Hydrogen/Ammonia)
Ocior Energy – ₹7,200 Cr (Green Hydrogen/Ammonia)
Saatvik Solar Industries – ₹3,000 Cr (Solar Cell & Module)
World Green Energy – ₹2,500 Cr (Solar Cell & Module)
Superform Chemistries (UPL) – ₹4,001 Cr (Specialty Chemicals)
TSSEZL MD Manikanta Naik noted that the developments solidify GIP’s status as a national hub for green energy and advanced manufacturing, driven by strong public-private collaboration.
