Jamshedpur : The Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) concluded its 2nd Summer Camp 2025 with resounding success, following ten days of intensive training, learning, and sportsmanship. Held from May 11 to 20, the camp brought together over 190 young cadets from various schools and colleges across Jamshedpur.
The closing ceremony was graced by Hemant Gupta, CEO of Hockey Ace Foundation and Head of Sports (Academies), Tata Steel, who shared his inspiring journey as a mountaineer who scaled Mount Everest in 2017. His words encouraged cadets to remain focused and passionate about their goals.
The camp not only honed fundamental hockey skills but also placed strong emphasis on physical fitness, mental resilience, teamwork, and discipline. With regular assessments and engaging sessions, the program aimed to foster holistic development in young athletes.
Gurmeet Singh Rao, Project Director of NTHA, expressed his pride in the cadets’ progress: “This camp was not just about hockey—it was about personal growth and laying the foundation for a healthy and active lifestyle.”

Certificates of participation were distributed by Mr. Gupta and the NTHA coaching staff.
Looking forward, NTHA announced that regular training sessions will resume every Wednesday and Saturday from May 26, between 3:30 pm and 5 pm, with registrations opening soon.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, parents, coaches, volunteers, and supporters, followed by a group photograph capturing the spirit of unity, growth, and achievement.
