Jamshedpur : As per the directives of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, intensive inspections are being carried out every Saturday across all blocks and urban local bodies in East Singhbhum district.
The purpose is to review the progress of government schemes and assess the actual status of public service delivery.
Continuing this initiative, today the designated nodal officers visited various panchayats and urban areas to evaluate the implementation of schemes and quality of services being provided. During the inspections, officers reviewed Anganwadi centres, schools, health sub-centres, Public Distribution System (PDS) shops, MGNREGA work sites, and panchayat buildings.
The inspections primarily focused on services related to education, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation, and the public distribution system — particularly assessing their availability, quality, and accessibility to the public.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the aim of this inspection campaign is not only to monitor the progress of scheme implementation but also to identify any grassroots-level issues and ensure immediate corrective action.
The campaign ensures that children in Anganwadi centres receive nutritious food, schools function regularly with proper teaching systems, health centres are stocked with essential medicines and provide medical facilities, and PDS shops deliver food grains timely and in correct quantities.
The district administration prioritizes timely and efficient delivery of services to every citizen and seeks to address negligence proactively.
This continuous inspection and monitoring process enhances administrative accountability and strengthens public trust. Nodal officers have been directed to ensure prompt action based on their findings and resolve issues on a priority basis.
