UditVani, Jamshedpur : Narbheram Hansraj English School, Bistupur, transformed into a winter wonderland on a chilly December morning, December 19 as the junior classes came together to celebrate the magic of Christmas.
The festivities kicked off in the school ground, where students dressed in vibrant Christmas attire gathered near the stage, beaming with excitement.
The principal Paromita Roy Choudhury, in her warm and gracious speech, welcomed everyone to the special celebration. “Dear students, teachers, and staff, today we come together to embrace the spirit of joy, love, and giving that Christmas brings. As we gather in this festive atmosphere, we’re reminded of the values of kindness, compassion, and friendship that this beautiful festival represents. It’s a time to spread happiness, share laughter, and make memories that’ll last a lifetime.”
She continued, “At Narbheram Hansraj, we believe in nurturing not just the mind, but the heart. And what better way to do that than by celebrating the joy of Christmas? It’s a time to reflect on the things that truly matter – love, family, and the bonds we share. So let’s take a moment to appreciate the little things, to be grateful for what we have, and to spread cheer wherever we go.”
The principal concluded her speech by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and urging the students to carry the festive spirit forward. The air was filled with cheers and applause as she finished speaking.
The celebration that followed was nothing short of spectacular. Students dressed as Santa Claus and fairies added to the merriment, while Christmas carols filled the air, getting everyone in the mood to groove. The playground echoed with laughter and dancing as the young ones let loose and enjoyed themselves.
To top it all off, each student was given a Santa Claus cap to wear, adding to the festive cheer. It was a morning filled with joy, laughter, and memories that the students of Narbheram Hansraj English School will surely cherish for a long time.
