Jamshedpur : A shocking incident unfolded on Monday at Hotel Al Dorado in the Aambagan area of Sakchi, Jamshedpur, where the body of a young woman was found hanging from a ceiling fan under suspicious circumstances. The case has stirred public concern and remains shrouded in mystery as police continue their investigation.
According to sources , the crime scene appears to have been orchestrated in a way that has left investigators puzzled.
Contradictions in the statements given by those involved have made it increasingly difficult to determine the truth.
Clever Booking Tactics Raise Suspicion
Initial investigations revealed that two men and two women checked into the hotel but deliberately booked separate rooms to avoid drawing attention to their group. One room was booked by the two men, while the other was taken by the two women.
Sources say a man named Pankaj called a young woman from Azad Basti to the hotel. She arrived with her friend. It is believed that she received a phone call from her boyfriend, after which her friend moved to the room where the two men were already present. A party allegedly took place in that room, and everyone eventually fell asleep there.
Gaps in the Story Raise Eyebrows
Several questions have arisen from the sequence of events. If the girl received a phone call, why did her friend need to move rooms? Why did the party begin without the main girl’s involvement? If she was in the room, why was no one concerned about her well-being later that night?
Inconsistencies in the statements of both the men and the girl’s friend have further deepened the suspicion surrounding the incident.
Murder or Suicide?
Speculation is growing over whether the death was a suicide or a premeditated murder. Some believe the girl may have been lured under false pretenses and subjected to mistreatment, leading to either a breakdown and suicide or possibly a fatal altercation.
Sources suggest that a detailed analysis of call records and chat histories from the mobile phones of the three suspects could provide crucial clarity in the case.
Police Response and Investigation
Police have currently detained five individuals in connection with the case and are also scrutinizing the hotel’s records and operations.
City DSP Sunil Chaudhary said, “Five people have been taken into custody. We are examining hotel documentation and investigating all aspects of the case. The truth will emerge soon.”
The incident has once again brought attention to questionable practices at hotels in the Sakchi Aambagan area, where rooms are often allotted to young people without proper verification.
Police say that clarity will only come once the post-mortem report is obtained. Until then, the case remains an unresolved mystery.
