
Udit Vani Jamshedpur : The Indian Meteorological Department has issued weather advisories indicating thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty winds over various parts of the state in the coming days.
On June 13, thunderstorm and lightning activity, with wind speeds reaching 30–40 kmph, is expected to occur at isolated places in the eastern parts of the state, excluding the northern region.
On June 14, the intensity is likely to increase, with gusty winds reaching 40–50 kmph forecasted at isolated places across the entire state.

Meteorological conditions are favorable for the further advancement of the Southwest Monsoon into more parts of Central and adjoining East India, including Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, within the next 48 hours.
In terms of synoptic features, an upper air cyclonic circulation currently lies over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south Odisha, extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level and tilting southwestward with height. This system is likely to influence weather activity in the region.
Citizens are advised to remain alert during this period and take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to lightning and strong winds.
