UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a proud moment for Jamshedpur’s football community, two rising stars — Nikhil Barla and Mohammed Sanan — have earned their places in the India U-23 squad for the upcoming tour of Tajikistan.

Announced by head coach Naushad Moosa, the 23-member squad will face Tajikistan on June 18 and Kyrgyz Republic on June 21 at the Hisor Central Stadium, with both matches scheduled to kick off at 20:30 IST.
These crucial friendlies are a part of India’s preparations for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers set for September.
Barla, hailing from Khunti, has been a standout performer in the Jamshedpur FC youth setup. Known for his versatility and pace, the dynamic right-winger’s rise through the ranks has earned him widespread recognition. His selection is a testament to his consistency and adaptability on the field.
