UditVani, Jamshedpur : Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) successfully concluded its 32nd Annual Sports Day on December 9, 2025, showcasing the unwavering zeal and enthusiasm of its students. The occasion was graced by City Superintendent of Police, Kumar Shivashish, as the Chief Guest, along with Firoz Khan, a senior sports administrator from the Tata Steel Sports Department, as the Guest of Honour.

The day began with a grand March Past that set the tone for a series of spectacular performances. Students from Nursery to Class 8 displayed impressive coordination and energy through various colourful drills that captivated the audience. The four houses—Canary, Macau, Teal, and Kingfisher—competed keenly across multiple track events, each striving to bring glory to their house.

The event was compered by Ariana Upadhyay, Priyanshu Patro, Tanushree Dasgupta, and Shubham Mishra, all from Class XI, whose confidence and charm kept the programme lively and well-paced. The vibrant atmosphere highlighted the students’ dedication, discipline, and determination, reflecting the collective efforts of teachers and trainers who guided them throughout their preparations.

After a series of exciting contests, Macau House lifted the Overall Championship Trophy, while Kingfisher House secured the Runner-up position. Canary House earned the Best March Past Trophy for their excellent coordination and discipline.

The event concluded on a high note, with appreciation for the tireless support of the school administration, teachers, and parents. MNPS congratulated all winners and participants, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence both on and off the field.
