Udit Vani Jamshedpur : The Indian Red Cross Society’s , East Singhbhum unit , will organize a mega blood donation camp in the city on June 14, as it does every year.
This initiative will take place at the Red Cross Bhavan in Sakchi, with the cooperation of local blood donors and organizations affiliated with the Red Cross.
More than 50 organizations across the city have been invited to participate in this blood donation camp. Additionally, organizations associated with NCC, JAC-6, and the army will also take part, making the event more impactful.
Vijay Kumar Singh, the Honorary Secretary of the Red Cross Society (East Singhbhum), has appealed to the youth who are 18 years or older to begin their blood donation journey on this day, which is celebrated in honor of blood donors.
He urged various institutions, NSS units of colleges, and universities in the city to either organize a blood donation camp on their premises to mark the importance of the day or encourage their members to donate at community camps.
On this day, in addition to the main event at Red Cross Bhavan, Sakchi, a parallel event will be held in collaboration with Uranium Corporation and other organizations to promote and support blood donation.
