
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Under the directive of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and the aegis of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), a 90-day special mediation campaign titled “Mediation for Nation” has been launched in Jamshedpur. The campaign began on 1st July 2025 and will continue until 30th September 2025, aiming to resolve pending court cases through mediation.
DLSA Secretary Dharmendra Kumar informed that as part of the campaign, the identification of suitable pending cases, notifying the concerned parties, and referring them to the Mediation Centre has already commenced from July 1. The cases identified between July 1 and July 31, 2025, will be forwarded to the Mediation Centre for further proceedings.
The campaign covers a wide range of disputes including matrimonial cases, road accident claims, domestic violence, cheque bounce cases, commercial disputes, employment and service-related matters, compoundable criminal cases, consumer grievances, loan recovery, partition disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and land acquisition matters.
Parties involved in such disputes can approach the Mediation Centre at Nyay Sadan, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, either through court referral or directly via the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA).
The DLSA Secretary emphasized the benefits of the campaign, noting that it provides an opportunity for disputing parties to save time, legal expenses, and achieve amicable resolution outside lengthy court procedures.
The Mediation for Nation campaign is expected to significantly reduce the burden on courts while fostering a culture of mutual understanding and legal harmony throughout the East Singhbhum district.
