
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Acting on a written complaint by resident Deeksha Mahato, Kadma police arrested one person for allegedly creating and using forged documents in the name of providing government jobs.
The accused, identified as Prasanjeet Naha (39), son of Pradeep Naha, resident of Ramanagar Road No. 02, Kadma, East Singhbhum, is accused of duping people by preparing fake appointment letters, fabricated seals of government departments, and counterfeit documents. He allegedly took money from aspirants by promising them government jobs in departments like Mining & Geology, Agriculture, and GST.
During the police raid, the following items were seized from his possession:
1. An HP company laptop
2. Fake seals of Mining & Geology, Agriculture, and GST departments
3. Forged job offer letters and mark sheets of candidates
Police said the accused was creating false job documents and cheating people with the promise of secure government employment.
He has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC for forgery, cheating, and fraud.
