UditVani, Jamshedpur: Loyola School, Telco, has marked a defining moment in its journey of excellence with the attainment of two major milestones — Permanent Affiliation from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, and Minority Status Recognition from the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI), New Delhi.
Founded in 2015, the school has rapidly grown into one of Jamshedpur’s most promising educational institutions, known for its academic rigor, moral grounding, and commitment to holistic development.
The Permanent Affiliation, granted on September 1, 2025, stands as a formal acknowledgment of Loyola School’s high standards in teaching, administration, and overall educational excellence.
Adding to this success, the Council has also approved Loyola School, Telco’s request to introduce Plus Two (ISC) streams beginning with the 2026–2027 academic session.
This expansion will allow students to pursue their senior secondary education within the same trusted environment, extending the Loyola legacy of quality learning.
The institution’s proud journey reached another milestone when the NCMEI conferred Minority Status on October 8, 2025.
This recognition reinforces the school’s founding Jesuit vision — to provide education rooted in faith, values, and social responsibility.
Speaking on this joyous occasion, Principal Charanjeet Ohson and School Administrator Fr. Gerry D’Souza expressed heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God, the CISCE, government authorities, and all who have supported the school’s growth. “These achievements are not merely institutional recognitions,” they remarked, “but affirmations of the faith, dedication, and perseverance of our staff, students, and well-wishers. Loyola School, Telco, remains committed to nurturing academically sound, morally upright, and socially responsible citizens.”
With the grant of ‘Minority Status’, the state retains the authority to prescribe teacher qualifications and maintain educational standards.
However, the managing society retains full autonomy to make appointments, initiate disciplinary proceedings, and exercise administrative control over its schools — ensuring governance in line with its mission and values.
Armed with state-of-the-art infrastructure, a passionate faculty, and a student-centered ethos, Loyola School, Telco, continues to move forward in its mission to provide education that enlightens the mind, strengthens character, and uplifts the spirit — reaffirming its place as a beacon of excellence and faith-driven learning in Jamshedpur.
