
UditVani, Jamshedpur: The campus of Loyola School, Telco came alive with joy, colour and a deep sense of togetherness as the institution celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and reverence on December 20, 2025.
The celebration was a harmonious blend of devotion, creativity and festivity, leaving students with a meaningful and memorable experience.
The programme commenced with a solemn prayer led by the junior coordinator, Zeenat Maria Sundi, invoking divine blessings.

This was followed by a graceful prayer dance that filled the atmosphere with serenity.
Students then presented a thoughtful skit depicting the birth of Christ, beautifully conveying the timeless message of hope, love and compassion associated with Christmas.
Vibrant dance performances added energy to the event, while melodious Christmas carols sung by students and teachers together created an atmosphere of harmony and festive cheer across the campus.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Gerry D’Souza delivered an inspiring Christmas message, reminding everyone that “Christmas brings a message of peace, love, and joy for the entire human race.”
Drawing inspiration from the life of the Mother of God, he highlighted the importance of patience, forgiveness and love, encouraging students to live these values in their daily lives.
He stressed that speaking gently, forgiving quickly, helping those in need, studying sincerely and respecting teachers and parents are the true values of life, while jealousy and hatred only destroy harmony.
The celebrations reached a joyful peak with the much-awaited arrival of Santa Claus.
His cheerful entry on a reindeer cart brought laughter, excitement and festive delight among the children, adding sparkle to the occasion.

The entire programme was conducted smoothly under the dedicated supervision of coordinators Reshma Rodrigues and Zeenat Maria Sundi, with valuable guidance from the moderator, Colleen Xavier.
Their meticulous planning ensured that the true spirit of Christmas was reflected in every segment.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal, Charanjit Oshon, who expressed gratitude to Father Gerry for his enlightening message and applauded the teachers and students for their enthusiastic participation.
The Christmas celebration at Loyola School, Telco, was not just an event, but a heartfelt expression of unity and goodwill -reminding everyone that the true meaning of Christmas lies in sharing joy, spreading love and living with compassion.
