
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Loyola School, Telco, came alive with voices of creativity, confidence, and expression during its Annual Choral Recitation and Elocution Competition.
The event brought together students from various age groups, offering them a vibrant stage to showcase their linguistic flair, imagination, and public speaking skills.
The Choral Recitation featured enthusiastic performances by students from UKG to Class 3, while participants from Classes VI to X enthralled the audience with their eloquence in the elocution contest.

Adding to the charm, the competition was divided into diverse categories:
Storytelling (Classes IV & V): Young narrators impressed with their imagination and expressive delivery.
Humorous Poem Recitation (Class VI): Students delighted the audience with witty poems, sparking laughter throughout the hall.
Speech by a Great Personality (Class VII): Iconic voices of leaders were brought alive, leaving listeners inspired.

Declamation (Class VIII): Passionate recreations of famous speeches showcased conviction and clarity.
Extempore (Classes IX & X): Senior students rose to the challenge with spontaneous, articulate, and thought-provoking responses.
Through poems, stories, and speeches, students highlighted values of kindness, empathy, and human connection while also touching on themes of family, society, and nature. Their poise, clarity, and creativity won admiration from both the judges and the audience.
Principal Charanjeet Oshon congratulated all participants, reminding them that the spoken word carries its true meaning only when expressed with genuine emotion.
She urged students to continue honing their passion for poetry, storytelling, and public speaking.
The success of the program was attributed to the teamwork of the school’s management, teachers, and students, with special acknowledgment to Administrator Fr. Gerry D’Souza for his guidance and encouragement.
The distinguished panel of judges — Colleen Xavier, Sonia Raisurana, Deepika Mukherjee, Ranjita Singh, and L. Deepika — lauded the young performers for their outstanding talent and urged them to strive for excellence in the art of expression.
