
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Loyola School, Telco celebrated its 10th anniversary on Friday with a grand Annual Day function that brilliantly showcased art, culture, and core educational values.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents, adding to the vibrancy of the celebration.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Head, Tata Motors Hospital, and Guest of Honour Dr. Priya Amitabh, Senior Paediatrician, whose presence elevated the occasion.

Among the dignitaries present were Fr. Michael Dhanaraj (Rector), Fr. Vinod Fernandes (Principal, Loyola School Bistupur), Fr. Jerry (Administrator), Charanjeet Oson (Principal, Loyola School Telco), co-ordinators Reshma and Zeenat Maria Sundi, and moderator Kaleen Xavier.
The highlight of the evening was a captivating stage adaptation of Ruskin Bond’s celebrated story “The Blue Umbrella”.

The play received overwhelming appreciation for its emotional depth and powerful message centred on truth, compassion, empathy, and selflessness.
It aimed to remind children that life’s true beauty lies not in material desires but in kindness and generosity.
The performance featured a talented cast:
* Kritika as Binya, who won hearts with her innocence and charm
* Mohammad Yusuf as Bijju, delivering a lively portrayal
* Abhijeet as Ram Bharose, with a compelling performance
* Adarsh as Rajaram, showcasing a strong stage presence
* Avni as the mother, portraying emotions with grace
* Shaurya, Hitesh, and Deepshikha as the priest, schoolmaster, and his wife, adding depth to the narrative
* Raghav as the tea-shop helper, whose natural acting left a lasting impression
The students’ collective performance—marked by expressive dialogue, seamless coordination, and thoughtful staging—reflected Loyola School’s commitment to holistic education beyond textbooks.
The programme also featured energetic dance and musical presentations that kept the audience engaged and uplifted throughout.

Thunderous applause from parents and guests boosted the morale of young performers at every step.
In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Sanjay Kumar congratulated the school on completing ten remarkable years.
He said the event brought back memories of his own school days and praised the institution for empowering young minds and nurturing leadership.
“Dream big, work hard, and success will surely follow,” he told the students.
