
UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a significant recognition for educational institutions of Jamshedpur, Loyola School, Telco and Mercy School of Nursing, Baridih were formally granted Minority Status Certificates by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI), Government of India.
Fr Jerry received the Minority Status Certificate on behalf of Loyola School, Telco, through the Chairman of NMCEI in New Delhi today.
The recognition marks a major milestone for the institution, reinforcing its commitment to educational excellence under minority rights provisions.
On the same occasion, Sr Grace, Principal of Mercy School of Nursing, also received the Minority Status Certificate for the nursing school from NCMEI in Delhi.

The certification is expected to enhance institutional autonomy and support the school’s mission of training skilled healthcare professionals.
Both institutions featured in the official list issued by NCMEI on 11 December 2025, confirming compliance with all requisite legal norms and documentation.
The achievement has brought pride to the educational community of East Singhbhum, marking a promising step forward for both schools.
