UditVani, Jamshedpur : The second day of the Let’s Make A Difference (LMAD) Jamshedpur Youth Conference at Kerala Public School, Kadma, unfolded with a spirit of inspiration, self-reflection, and empowerment. The day’s sessions were thoughtfully designed to encourage students to introspect, identify their areas for growth, and build a strong moral foundation.
The morning began with the distribution of reflection booklets encouraging participants to recognize their “concentration distractors,” an exercise aimed at enhancing mindfulness and focus. The first session commenced with a soulful prayer led by Mr. Viral Mazumdar, Chief Director of LMAD, followed by his insightful talk on The Power of Silence. Using a touching story, Mr. Mazumdar stressed the importance of quiet introspection and listening to one’s inner voice, urging students to maintain a thought diary to track their reflections and growth.

A resonating message he shared was: “If you change, your family changes; when the family changes, society changes; and when society changes, the nation changes.” This session concluded with a quiet self-introspection activity, allowing students to reflect silently on their thoughts and emotions.
The next session featured an open self-confession forum where students from four schools courageously shared personal experiences, highlighting the value of self-awareness, character development, and resilience during formative years. Following this, the “My Life” activity encouraged participants to honestly assess their good and bad habits and pledge for positive change.
The afternoon included motivating speeches from three young leaders — Tanmaye, Rashesh, and Shraddha. Ms. Shraddha Agarwal shared her journey from a salaried employee to a successful entrepreneur, emphasizing the significance of perseverance, hard work, and women’s empowerment. Mr. Rashesh focused on ethics, self-discipline, and persistence as keys to success.
As the day concluded, students left with renewed motivation and a deeper sense of purpose — ready to embrace self-discipline, introspection, and continuous personal transformation.
Coordinators Mr. Rajiv Agarwal and Ms. Shraddha Agarwal played an instrumental role in organizing the event, supported by an enthusiastic team of volunteers. The LMAD Jamshedpur Youth Conference continues to inspire young minds to become responsible changemakers dedicated to making a positive difference in society.
