UditVani, Jamshedpur : Kerala Public School, Burmamines organised a solemn tribute ceremony on the sacred occasion of the Martyrdom Day of Hind Ki Chadar, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The school fraternity paid heartfelt homage to the revered Guru, remembering his unparalleled sacrifice, courage, and lifelong commitment to humanity.

The programme commenced with a prayer assembly, followed by an enlightening discourse delivered by the Granthi from Sakchi Gurudwara, who shared insights into Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life, teachings, and contributions to society. Teachers also reflected upon the Guru’s universal messages of religious freedom, peace, harmony, and human values, and presented Shabad Kirtan to honour his memory.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of Kerala Public School, Dr. Shrikant Nair, stated,
“Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice teaches us that courage, selflessness, and steadfastness are essential for upholding truth, justice, and human rights. His ideals remain deeply relevant today and continue to serve as a powerful source of inspiration for our students.”

Principal Ms. Priyanka Barua encouraged students to imbibe the Guru’s teachings in their daily lives and contribute towards fostering peace, brotherhood, and a spirit of service within society.
