UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Jamshedpur Police have successfully cracked the sensational daylight kidnapping of young entrepreneur Kairav Gandhi, abducted from the Bistupur CH Area on January 13.
Acting swiftly, police rescued the victim unharmed within two weeks and arrested six accused linked to an inter-state gang operating across Jharkhand and Bihar.
Using CCTV analysis, technical surveillance and human intelligence, police traced the kidnappers to Gaya, Bihar, where Gandhi was held in a remote area. Under mounting pressure, the accused abandoned him near the GT Road between Chauparan and Barhi on the night of January 26–27.

He was safely reunited with his family the next day.
Subsequent raids led to the arrest of six accused and recovery of the vehicle used in the crime. During a weapon recovery operation in Jamshedpur, the accused opened fire on police, prompting a brief encounter in which three were injured and illegal firearms were seized.
Police said investigations are ongoing to identify local facilitators involved in the conspiracy.
