
UditVani Jamshedpur: JUSCO School, South Park celebrated its Annual Sports Day with immense enthusiasm and vibrant participation.
Captain Manish Sinha ,Head Sports ,Events and Training Centres,Tata Steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mr A F Madon, Administrator,JEM Foundation as the Guest of Honour . Mr Jiju Thomas,Senior Manager, Principals of JEM Foundation Schools and Colleges were also present for the event.

The programme commenced with an impressive march past, where students, divided into five houses, representing the 5 elements of nature demonstrated discipline ,unity and organisational strength.This was followed by a series of drill displays by the students of Std II to Std VII that reflected the message of
1) PEACE & HARMONY
2) HISTORIC WIN OF INDIAN WOMEN’S CRICKET TEAM
3) WELL BEING THROUGH YOGA
4) SELF DEFENCE THROUGH TAEKWONDO
All these displays drew a loud applause from the audience.
The Chief Guest Captain Manish Sinha in his address to the students said that sports is an integral part of the school curriculum .Physical activities keep the students disciplined and focused.

Jal house lifted the trophy of the BEST IN MARCH PAST while the CHAMPION HOUSE trophy was lifted by Agni house.

The school Principal Mrs Mili Sinha congratulated all the students and said that winning is important, but participation and effort matter even more.
Teachers who played a major role in Organising the event included Vice Principal Mrs Gurmeet Kaur, Coordinators Ranjeeta Singh and Neha Parveen along with the Sports Teachers – Nikhil Rai , Sunil Sinha, Hemant Rajak and Pano Mardi.
