UditVani, Ranchi/Jamshedpur : In a sudden move, the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has announced the postponement of its upcoming examinations that were scheduled to begin today, October 9, and continue till October 16.
The decision, taken just a day before the first phase of the test, has left thousands of aspirants across the state shocked and anxious. According to official sources, the examination has been deferred due to “unavoidable administrative reasons.”
However, the commission has not yet declared the new dates for the rescheduled examinations. A revised timetable is expected to be announced soon on the official JSSC website.
The JSSC exams were being conducted for various posts under the state government, and candidates from all districts of Jharkhand had made extensive preparations to appear in the test.
Many aspirants who had already reached their examination centers expressed disappointment and frustration over the last-minute decision.
Officials stated that the postponement was aimed at ensuring a smooth and fair examination process. They urged candidates to regularly check the JSSC portal for further updates.
The sudden postponement has also reignited debates over the frequent administrative lapses in competitive exam management in Jharkhand, as candidates demand greater transparency and timely communication from the authorities.
