UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a major counter-insurgency operation, security forces uncovered Maoist hideouts in the dense forests of Jhanti village under Chaibasa district, leading to the recovery of explosives, bunkers, and other materials used by the banned CPI (Maoist) outfit.
According to police officials, a joint team comprising Chaibasa police and personnel from the 209 Battalion of CoBRA launched the operation on July 8, 2025, following intelligence inputs about the presence of top CPI (Maoist) leaders in the Kolhan region.
