
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Day temperatures continued to rise across Jharkhand with no rainfall recorded at any observation centre in the past 24 hours, according to 0830 IST data from IMD Surface Observatories.
Most parts of the state reported above-normal maximum temperatures. Ranchi recorded 30.0°C, 2.6°C above normal, while Jamshedpur registered 32.8°C (+2.4°C). Daltonganj reported 32.4°C (+2.8°C), Bokaro Thermal 32.5°C (+5.4°C), and Chaibasa logged the highest maximum in the state at 33.8°C, 4.5°C above normal.
Minimum temperatures also remained above normal in several areas. Ranchi recorded 13.8°C (+0.8°C), Jamshedpur 15.2°C (+1.4°C), and Bokaro Thermal 13.6°C (+2.8°C). The lowest minimum temperature was reported at Gumla AWS at 9.8°C.
Automated Weather Stations indicated maximum temperatures of 33.4°C at Saraikela, 31.7°C at Pakur, 30.7°C at Deoghar and Baharagora, and 29.4°C at Koderma, while Latehar recorded a relatively lower high of 24.9°C.
Minimum temperatures ranged from 9.8°C at Gumla to 14.1°C at Pakur.
The state overall experienced dry weather conditions, rising daytime heat, and no significant precipitation activity.
