
UditVani, Ranchi : The Jharkhand government will open new skill development centres in all blocks of the state to ensure local, need-based training for rural youth, Labour, Employment and Training Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav said on Friday.
Addressing the grand valedictory ceremony of Jharkhand Kaushal Utkarsh organised by the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society (JSDMS), the minister honoured 39 winners of the competition.
He said the winners would represent Jharkhand at national and international platforms, including the India Skills Competition 2026, with top performers progressing towards global-level contests in China.
Highlighting JSDMS’s role in empowering youth through skill training and employment, the minister called the occasion a “golden chapter” in Jharkhand’s skill development journey.
The department also signed several MoUs with reputed institutions to enhance industrial partnerships and global placement opportunities.
During the event, the Ranchi Deputy Labour Commissioner-cum-District Skill Officer and the district team were specially felicitated for their outstanding work and innovations in skill training.
