
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jharkhand is poised for a stretch of calm and stable winter weather over the coming days, with early morning fog giving way to clear, dry conditions.
As per the latest forecast, December 8 to 11 will remain largely dry, with no significant weather system expected to influence the state.
On December 8, fog or mist is likely during the morning hours, followed by a partly cloudy sky later in the day.
From December 9 to 11, mornings are set to remain fog-laden, gradually clearing into bright, mainly clear skies as the day progresses.
Meteorologists confirm that no major synoptic system currently affects Jharkhand’s weather patterns.
The only active system – Western Disturbance situated as a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies at about 5.8 km above mean sea level -runs along longitude 63°E north of latitude 28°N, too far away to exert any notable impact on the state.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed across Jharkhand on Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by a sharp dip in temperatures.
A cold wave condition was reported over western and adjoining central districts, bringing an intensified winter chill during the night and early morning hours.
With foggy dawns, crisp afternoons, and cold nights in the forecast, residents are advised to remain cautious during early-morning travel due to reduced visibility.
