UditVani, Jamshedpur: In a major step towards employee growth and internal career progression, JCAPCPL on Monday formally signed a new promotion policy enabling non-operational (non-OPR) employees to rise to officer-grade roles through a structured selection process.
As per the newly approved policy, eligible non-OPR employees holding adequate qualifications such as an engineering degree or diploma, MBA or B.Sc will now be able to apply for officer-level positions.
The selection process will include a written examination followed by a personal interview to ensure merit-based promotion.
To qualify, employees must fulfill key criteria including:
* Minimum 270 days of attendance in a year
* No record of safety violations
* Satisfactory performance with strong 4Q (Quarterly) scores
The policy was officially signed in the presence of senior management and union representatives.
The introduction of this promotion framework is being seen as a significant move to motivate the workforce, recognize talent within the organization, and ensure long-term career growth opportunities for non-operational employees.
Company officials expressed confidence that the new policy will boost employee morale and encourage continuous skill development, contributing positively to JCAPCPL’s overall productivity and organizational excellence.
