UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur is set to witness the return of top-tier youth football as the city gears up to host the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) ROI–2 Regional Qualifiers from December 31, 2025, to January 8, 2026. The prestigious youth development tournament will bring together six competitive teams battling for two qualification spots in the zonal stage.
The matches will be held at the iconic JRD Tata Sports Complex and the Flatlets Ground, with Jamshedpur FC serving as host. The event is part of the club’s continuing mission to foster football talent and culture in Jharkhand’s football capital. With high-intensity fixtures and some of the nation’s most promising youth squads in action, fans can expect a week filled with fierce competition and emerging stars on display.
The participating teams include Jamshedpur FC, Sports Odisha, Chhattisgarh United FC, Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy (Kolkata), Football 4 Change Academy (Manipur), and Zinc Football Academy (Rajasthan). The inclusion of Sports Odisha and Chhattisgarh United FC, replacing Sporting Club Kerala and the Jammu & Kashmir Football Association, has brought a fresh dynamic to this year’s group.
The compact eight-day schedule will challenge the endurance and tactical depth of all teams, with back-to-back fixtures promising gritty performances and unpredictable outcomes. For Jamshedpur, this marks another milestone in its journey to becoming a consistent host for elite youth tournaments, providing local fans with opportunities to witness the future of Indian football in action.
