
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Jamshedpur Super League (JSL) officially kicked off its much-anticipated Girls League at the Tata Football Academy, highlighting the growing talent, passion, and determination of young female footballers from across the region.
The league features 20 teams and around 200 players representing Ranchi, Chaibasa, Chakradharpur, Musabani, Saraikela, East Singhbhum, and Gumla. Designed to offer extensive match exposure, the competition promises high-intensity action with each team scheduled to play 38 matches.
Musabani FC A & B made a strong statement on the opening day, delivering dominant performances against Tata AILG and JSSPS to secure convincing 3–0 victories. Their impressive start has set an exciting tone for the remainder of the league.
The Girls League reflects JSL’s commitment to holistic development and its vision of nurturing grassroots talent while creating meaningful opportunities for the growth of women’s football in India. With players from diverse backgrounds coming together on a competitive platform, the league is poised to play a significant role in shaping the future of the women’s game in the region.
